By ceramics we mean all products that are made of baked clay, Generally speaking there are two kinds: porcelain and pottery. Porcelain is made from porcelain earth and is the purest kind of clay that makes the highest quality ceramic we know. Since 1710 porcelain is being made in Europe, the Chinese have done it for a few thousands years more and are, like many other things the inventors of the porcelain production.

Pottery has been made for thousands of years. The Maya's and Aztecs had a highly developed technique and there are many  museums full of incredibly beautiful examples of how the most fantastic applianes were made 3000 to 4000 years ago. At Kulu we are very happy that we were able to include some of this ancient material in our product line.
